Rural Watch Update - 04/09/2026 |
||
|
Good morning all,
Happy Friday! I hope you’ve all had a lovely week. This week is the first I’ve experienced with the darker mornings creeping in and starting to feel a bit more autumnal. Is anyone else ready for jumper season, as I am!
Next week is National Rural Crime Week and I will be out with my colleagues from Community Policing across our division, visiting villages and doing spot checks on farms for security. Hopefully I will get an opportunity to meet some of you when I’m out and about. I end my week at the Ram Sales in Kelso which I’m very much looking forward to. Please flag me down and say hello if you see me!
Business news for this week:
West Lothian A red Honda quad bike and several power tools were stolen from a shed at a small holding in West Lothian. It is believed the theft happened during daylight hours. Unfortunately, there is no CCTV and at this time neighbours do not appear to have seen or heard anything suspicious. If you have any information you can provide please contact Police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
East/Mid Lothian No business news
Scottish Borders No business news.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Take Care, PC Robyn Hanna | ||
